It is no secret that Texas has a large turkey population, and our private lands are loaded with Rio Grande turkeys. Large live oak trees (with acorns) and open grassy meadows provide plenty of roosting trees and quality natural forbs and insects for a very large, sustainable turkey population on our properties.
